Back after a long time...

Strangely, I forgot my username. So couldn't make any new posts since last time. But nice now I have managed to get it back. So ok... now to say write down something important. Presently updating and brushing up the knowledge of human anatomy learning. This is very important to bring "life" in the human model. This are a couple of very important reference I am following:

Male

Female

Now the important question is, should I need to sculpt latissimus dorsi? Or should I use displacement map there? As the example follows, the latis is showing of the lady on top:

Female Wrestlers

Closer...

It seems that I am coming close to the persuaded dream. The theory is defined. So the control should be total. The human project is planned to be formatted into three layers.

1. Basic figure development from box - drawing silouettes in orthogonal views; the front and left.

2. Regional subdivisions and sculpting out organic form.

3. Regional feature modeling and tweaking.

The first part is much essential, for it's going to give the total sense of the figure what it's going to be. From the second part, it should come to life. And third part is the final and finishing touches.

These thoughts kept hovering in mind all the day. But strangely, not got that urge to start. Too much pressure has brought tiredness, or, is it the artist's block?

Not sure. But, mental exercises are very necessary. Keen observations should get the idea of human figures engraved in heart.

Idea should remain in the forefront. Techniques or technology should serve it only. So still studying images and trying to grasp them in mind. The three layer idea have to be tasted practically and determine it's effectiveness.

In coming posts, there will be elaborate discussions pictorially.

First day first show

So again... another attempt to maintain a journal! May the journey be long, may be short, strokes will be here, at least will try to. Alone in the crowd, desolated in the ocean of life, feeling like Robinson Crusoe... scratching this web-log.

Seeing destiny clear, with definite navigations, sailing along the ocean of life. Yes.. ! Venturing for that land of dreams... may be it's far away, may be it's near, and for sure, I will get there.
